About this event
We are pleased to be partnering with Parkland County to bring you summer day camps designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and create lifelong memories in a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment.
Children, aged 6 - 12 years old, will embark on an enriching journey to build emotional resilience, focus, and kindness. Using the evidence-based MindUp curriculum, this camp helps kids understand how their brains work, develop mindfulness skills, and learn strategies for managing emotions. Through games, storytelling, art, and nature activities, children practice empathy and positive thinking in a supportive and joyful environment.
We offer engaging, structured outdoor activities where campers will participate in movement, sports, and cooperative games to build strength, confidence, and teamwork through physical activity. The best learning happens outside!
This camp will run Monday, August 17th to Friday, August 21st from 9:00am-4:00pm at Sand Hills Community League (52032 Range Rd 270, Spruce Grove, AB).
Drop-off is between 8:30 - 9:00am. Pick-up is between 4:00 - 4:30pm. There will not be programming during drop-off and pick-up times.
Participants must bring their own lunch and snacks.
Camp cost is $150 per camper for Parkland County residents and $200 for non-residents.
Full refunds (less service fess) are available until June 15, 2026. Half-refunds (less service fees) are available if requested by noon on Friday, 2 weeks prior to the first day of camp.
Tips to help your child be successful:
- Children may bring bug spray, labelled with their name, and a leader can assist with spray application.
- Children must have a water bottle labelled with their name.
- Please bring a hat and wear running shoes.
- Apply sunscreen before arriving.
- Do not bring valuables or electronics.
- Label all personal belongings.
